My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Of all the novels written by Alexandra Potter that I have read, What's New, Pussycat? is one of my least favorite along with Me and Mr.Darcy.

What's New Pussycat? revolves around Delilah after she rejected a marriage proposal and fled to London in search of a better life. Delilah was bored with her old life and when she met charming stranger- Charlie, she eventually decided to leave her hometown for London in hope of meeting or even starting a relationship with Charlie.

I feel that the story progresses rather slowly in the beginning that I just can't wait for Delilah to move to London. Even when Delilah had arrived in London, I found myself waiting for the moment she and Charlie would meet. In my opinion, I find the story line that leads Delilah into London and actually meeting Charlie himself there as quite unrealistic.

Of course, in MOST chick-lit novels that I've read, there would almost always be 2 possible love interests for the main character. What's New, Pussycat? would be one of those novels. As I progressed through half of this novel, I could already predict who Delilah would end up with eventually and that WOULD NOT be Charlie.

Though the story line is quite predictable and all, I have to say that between this book and Me and Mr.Darcy, I would still prefer What's New, Pussycat?
